2025 Theme is “Holidays”

Lots of fun is in store for the 2025 “Team Up for Fun!” Day Camp! Come and join us as we ride horses, climb the rock wall, do some art projects, enjoy special guest performances and enjoy some time celebrating Holidays.

“Team Up for Fun” Day Camp is designed for children with physical challenges ages 4 to 17 and their siblings. Parents will need to stay with children who are 4 years of age. Volunteer ‘buddies’ are available to help children with physical needs enjoy camp. These ‘buddies’ are physical therapy students from Carroll University. Campers whose primary needs are PHYSICAL are the focus of Team Up camp. If your child has primarily behavioral, emotional, or sensory challenges, this camp is not a good fit for his/her needs. Campers ages 13– 17 may register for our Teen Camp. Teen Camp activities are geared toward our older campers.

What to Expect at Camp

Camp activities provide experiential outdoor fun and learning opportunities with a group of 10-12 similarly aged campers. Many camp volunteers, planners, and assisting personnel have backgrounds in the rehab therapies of physical, occupational, or speech therapy. Each activity is planned around underlying therapeutic principles which may/can include:

strengthening
mobility
coordination
balance
gross and fine motor experiences

WHEN: July 28-31, 2025
Hours for “Team Up for Fun!” are from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM Monday through Thursday. Lunch will be served each day. On Thursday at noon there will be a family picnic for all volunteers, campers and their families. Please plan to come!

WHERE: Harnischfeger Park
W3048 Crawfish Rd Ixonia, WI 53036
Harnischfeger Park is just north of Ashippin. A Dodge County Park.

Registration

A $75 camp fee per child ($200 max per family) is due at registration. A limited number of full and partial camperships are available. Families with a financial need may apply. Please contact Bridget at teamupforfuncamp@gmail.com for a campership application.

All new families must complete the online registration forms and must also attend one of our in-person registration events.
Past camper families can complete the online registration and are not required to attend in-person registration
All forms and payment must be received by May 26, 2025.

There is a small chance that camp will fill up, if that happens, past campers will be given priority registration, new campers (and their siblings) will be chosen by lottery basis for available slots.
