Tracy Nevins

Tracy Nevins became a board member in 2010 after volunteering and participating with the Team Up board for about a year.  Tracy is married with two children.  Besides being busy with her family she works part-time as a medical assistant in a family doctor’s office and as an independent Pampered Chef consultant.  Tracy’s first child, Noah, was born with hydrocephalus in 2001. He was receiving therapy at New Berlin Therapies through the Birth to Three program and when he was about 2 years old he needed a kid cart.  This is when they were introduced to Katy’s Kloset and was very appreciative of that service.  Over time they have attended Team Up Summer Fun Day Camp and other family events.  They really enjoy Team Up events and now Tracy’s excited to help plan them.  She helps out with the Local 344 Union Annual Fundraiser (Poker Run) Park-N-Play family event, the Team Up website, newsletter and various other events by Team Up!  Tracy is very excited to be a part of the Team Up! With Families organization to help out and meet other families with special needs children.  She has already met a lot of families through the events and shares that the people she has met have been her greatest resource to services and coping with being a parent of a child with special needs.  Tracy also realizes it’s important to keep Team Up! and Katy’s Kloset going and wants to be a part of their future.  She’s looking forward to see what new things can be developed and help them grow.
