Julie Turkoske is a parent of a young adult daughter with special needs. Her daughter has participated in the Team Up for Fun day camp in the past; and she can't say enough about this wonderful event!
Currently, Julie volunteers at Katy's Kloset when she is able. Julie is also active in the World's Greatest Cookie Sale fundraiser as well as the Monte Carlo Night fundraiser to benefit Team Up! With Families.
When not doing volunteer work for Team Up!, Julie works at The Southeast Regional Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin: www.southeastregionalcenter.org, where she assists families and providers with finding resources in their community, planning workshops on various topics (transition to adulthood a specialty) and overseeing the library of materials for families and providers.
